Paramilitary force launches awareness campaign against COVID-19
KARACHI: Amid multiplying cases of the COVID-19 disease in Sindh, the paramilitary Rangers force has stepped forward to help the people fight off the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the metropolitan city of Karachi.
The paramilitary force has launched an awareness campaign in the province about the mysterious contagion which has infected tens of thousands of people worldwide, according to a Rangers spokesperson.
He said the Rangers would offer help in providing essential commodities to the people. Mobile vans have been deployed at various locations in the city to create awareness among Karachiites, he added.
At these locations, arrangements have been made for washing hands and hand sanitizers are also available there. The spokesperson requested the people to avail the facilities offered by the Rangers.
He also called upon the people of Karachi to follow the safety and precautionary guidelines set by the health authorities.
