Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, life seems to be put on pause as cineamas, museums, and even some restaraunts and gyms are temporarily shutting down as a precaution to prevent the virus's spread.

In many countries, people are being recommended to stay inside their homes and away from others as much as possible. We are also being encouraged to socially distance from other people to curb contracting coronavirus.

Although you may have to pump the breaks on your social life for a bit, you can still have fun indoors while we try to ride out this unprecedented reality. As compiled from InStyle, here are a few ways to make the most out of this time in self-isolation.

Good news! There's a Google Play extension where you can actually have a Netflix party with your friends. while tucked away in your seperate homes. Once you download it, the app syncs whatever you're watching so that you and anyone else you add to the party are on the same page. This lets you communicate with with each other via a chat box. Every person in the party needs to have their own Netflix account, and while it may not be the same as being with your friends together, it's about the easiest way to stay connected via your favourite shows. So go ahead and dive into some of your favourite seasons or films!

With concerns over the spread of coronavirus looming everywhere, public spaces such as museums are shutting down. Several world-famous museums like the Met in New York City and the Louvre in Paris have shuttered temporarily. Luckily, the internet has made it possible for you to see some of the most famous paintings and artifacts in the world, right from your couch.

Take a virtual walk through London's British Museum, Paris's Musée D'Orsay, Los Angeles's Getty Museum, or Amsterdam's Van Gogh Museum.

Although several upcoming films like Mulan, A Quiet Place 2, and Black Widow have delayed their release, some blockbusters currently in theaters will drop on video on demand early. Universal is dropping the following films for rent online this month, such as The Invisible Man, Emma, and The Hunt. On March 24, The Gentleman and Birds of Prey will also drop online, so if you have a projector, now's the time to break it out for your own cinema-going experience.
