Punjab Parliamentary Secretary for Revenue Chaudhary Muhammad Adnan on Wednesday said that the funds were released recently and work on these projects has begun.
The projects include the construction of a new tube well in the Airport Housing Society at a cost of Rs6 million.
Moreover, two water filtration plants will be established, one each for wards one and three of the Chaklala Cantonment Board (CCB). The filtration plants will cost of Rs5 million each.
Furthermore, large water supply lines will be installed in Union Council (UCs) Dhoke Khabba, Dhoke Farman Ali, Dhoke Illahi Baksh, Arya Mohalla, Chamanzar Colony and six wards (one through six) of CCB at a cost of Rs5 million each. These projects are expected to be completed within three months.
