Johnny Depp's ex extends support to him amid legal battle with ex-wife

Vanessa Paradis was in a relationship with Johnny for 14 years and is also the mother of his two children

Johnny Depp has found another strong ally after ex Winona Ryder in the form of another long-time ex - the mother of his two children, Vanessa Paradis.

Like Winona, Vanessa also filed a declaration in court to support Johnny's defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard. The report was made public by The Blast.

Vanessa, who courted him for 14 long year and shares two kids with him, termed Amber's allegations as “false facts.” Not just that, but she even said that she would be willing to appear in court and testify on his behalf if it were to come to it.

"I have known Johnny Depp for more than 25 years. We’ve been partners for 14 years and we raised our two children together. Through all these years I’ve known Johnny to be a kind, attentive, generous, and non-violent person and father," read her declaration.

She also cited his other industry friends as proof of his character, saying how they "adore him" thanks to him being "respectful". "He is humble and respectful to everyone, as well as being one of the best actors we’ve seen," she said.

"I am aware of the allegations which Amber Heard has publicly accused Johnny of for more than 4 years now. This is nothing like the true Johnny I have known, and from my personal experience of many years, I can say he was never violent or abusive to me," she went on to testify in the report, adding that the "outrageous statements have been really distressing."

In a declaration that read almost identical, Johnny's ex-fiance, Winona, also echoed the same sentiments. "The idea that he is an incredibly violent person is the farthest thing from the Johnny I knew and loved. I cannot wrap my head around these accusations," she said.

Johnny and 33 year-old Amber Heard are embroiled in an ugly legal battle since 2016, when Amber filed for a restraining order from him citing domestic abuse. He denies the allegations, and the case in currently ongoing.
