Throwback: Shah Rukh Khan once made Saif Ali Khan feel 'insecure'

The incident took place on the sets of 'Kal Ho Nah Ho,'

Kal Ho Nah Ho was the only time Bollywood giants Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan appeared together in leading roles. Their contrasting styles and different approaches to acting boded rather well in the film resulting in an iconic onscreen friendship.

During the shoot, however, Saif despite having become a top name in the industry at the time became rather jittery while working with SRK, reports Pinkvilla. Who could blame him though? It is SRK after all.

Last year, Saif appeared on an episode of Koffee with Karan alongside his daughter Sara Ali Khan. During the episode, Saif reminded Karan the director of Kal Ho Nah Ho for making him feel nervous during the shoot.

According to Saif, Karan had asked him to act like SRK while they were shooting a scene. "You made me insecure once. We were doing Kal Ho Na Ho and you said I want you to act like Shah Rukh and I said, ‘Oh no Am I not good enough as myself,” Saif said.

Meanwhile, Karan went on to explain that the context in which he said those words was entirely different. According to Karan, in the title track, SRK is doing all those things Saif did in his establishing scene. Since SRK was scheduled to act before Saif, the later was told during his shots to act like the former.
