LAC reviews measures against coronavirus

The meeting decided to suspend biometric attendance of all staff members

LAHORE: Precautionary measures were reviewed at Alhamra Arts Council in a meeting held on Monday. The meeting was chaired by Lahore Arts Council (LAC) Executive Director Ather Ali Khan. A spokesperson said the executive director, during the meeting, said precautions could be taken to defeat coronavirus. “Every employee should avoid hugging and shaking hands when greeting each other.”

The meeting decided to suspend biometric attendance of all staff members and reviewed the level of cleanliness of the Alhamra Arts Council. At the meeting, the executive director also issued orders to the officers concerned to conduct spraying in different locations within Alhamra.

He mentioned that there was no need to create panic in regards to the coronavirus situation in the country. “However, precautionary measures, to fight coronavirus, should be taken as they are necessary in reducing the number of cases.”
