No driving licences for two weeks amid COVID-19 fears in K-P

As a precautionary measure against a possible outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Peshawar traffic police on Sunday said that it is suspending facilities to issue driving licences for two weeks, starting today (Monday).
Traffic police said that the decision was taken in light of the directives issued by the federal and provincial government to shut down public places such as educational institutions, wedding halls, parks and other public places.
In this regard, officers said that the two driving schools operated by the City Traffic Police in the provincial capital have also been closed until further orders.
The officers and personnel of City Traffic Police have been directed to follow the advisory steps instructed by the government and doctors.
