Polio teams to seek travel histories

HYDERABAD: Polio vaccination teams will now collect information about persons returning from foreign countries during immunisation drives, instructed deputy commissioner Mirza Nasir Ali during a meeting on Thursday.

The teams were directed to collect information about people who had recently returned from China, Iran, Afghanistan or other countries affected by coronavirus while administering polio drops, in order to facilitate the screening process. The teams will also be provided protective gear.
