He expressed this during his visit to Oryagai and Laghai dams in Loralai.
“Government spends millions of rupees on the construction of dams in order to uplift agriculture sector as the dams will raise the level of underground water and ease in drainage of water through tube wells for irrigation,” said the commissioner.
The commissioner emphasised the importance of dams because a large number of people of Balochistan depend on agriculture and livestock.
He said that people associated with the livestock industry and the provincial government would get benefit from the construction of new dams in Balochistan.
