Dastak Cooking and Canola Oil are itself a mixture of taste and health. Their products are enriched with the goodness of Vitamin A, D, E and Omega 3 & 6 acids that are bound to make your life healthy and full of taste. This healthy cooking oil brand enriched our PSL experience by being the official title sponsor of our favourite team, the Islamabad United. It just doesn’t end over here. They also hosted some electrifying challenges and online giveaways to make this PSL season more memorable and fun.
Guess what, Dastak cooking oil is rewarding fans with cricket merchandise and PSL Tickets. The first question that pops up in our mind is… how so? Dastak has posted two competitions on their social media:
‘Jeet kay Bol challenge'
The first one is the ‘Jeet kay Bol challenge' which requires all the cricket aficionados to create unique slogans in a video supporting the two-time former winning champions, the Islamabad United.
Tongue Twister challenge
The second, and our favourite one, is the ‘Tongue Twister challenge' which requires people to make a video using the tongue twister from this post:
It’s not as easy as it sounds, trust us on that one. However, it is super fun and engaging. So try it out with your friends and family, and even with your colleagues. Don’t forget to use the words ‘Dastak’, ‘United’ or ‘Unity’, and also tag @dastak_cookingoil and #JeetKayBol in your video for both the challenges. Winners of these challenges will be rewarded by Dastak with PSL Ticket as well as exclusively-signed merchandise from IU players.
Dastak is also the brand that came up with a heart-warming message on World Food Day in 2019 via their campaign ‘Split the Plate.’ It not only caught attention but was also loved by everyone.
Apart from their out of the box social media campaigns, they also hosted events such as meet-and-greet sessions for the IU team and their fans. It was not only an elevating experience for the cricket lovers, but also an adrenaline booster for the IU team who received immense love and support from their fans for their future matches.
Another proud, yet inspiring moment that touched our hearts was to see Waqar Ali from Pakistan’s National Wheelchair cricket team, rooting for Islamabad United with team Dastak. They also hosted children from the Deaf Reach School twice; one in Karachi and one in Lahore. Apart from that, Dastak also hosted children from Sir Syed School for Special Education in Rawalpindi.
So what are you waiting for? Kya ap tayyar hain to support Islamabad United and Dastak? For more updates on what the brand's doing for PSL, head over to their official Facebook and Instagram account.
