The officials of the law wing made a presentation in this regard and shared the details of the case management software, a CDA statement said.
The web-based software would not only help record management of law wing but would also provide a continuous check on the performance of counsels pursuing cases pertaining to authority in different courts.
Officials said that designated IDs would be created in the next few days for different wings and departments.
The software will provide access to directors, directors general and members to check status of the cases pertaining to their wings and formations, while a dashboard would be also created for the top management.
The dashboard would contain the status of the case, stay orders, appeal if required, replies, name of counsel and other updates regarding cases in different courts of law.
In order to gauge the performance of counsels on the panel of the authority, the performance record of all counsels would be accessible through this software. Furthermore, a messaging service has also been created for intimating the next date of hearing of cases.
CDA said it was making efforts to bring about automaton in the law wing for better case management system and transparent disposal of cases and timely submission of replies.
In addition to introducing technology based initiative, authority was also strengthening the law wing with addition of some new lawyers.
