I'm unaffected by the diva tag: Kareena Kapoor

The actor revealed that the label stemmed from her character as Poo in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham'

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor opened up about being labeled a diva. “I have always fought against this image of being a diva. I don't know where it started. I think it started with Poo and ended up there alone,” she said.

The actor talked about how people had started to equate her real life with her character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.  "That's the way people always imagine me. So, now I think people are understanding that's not the way life is, it is not always just a bed of roses. It annoyed me initially, but now I'm unaffected with the diva tag," Kapoor exclaimed.

Additionally the actor also discussed how she was often seen as the 'other woman' after getting married to Saif Ali Khan. "People even now call me stepmom and for what I don't have any idea because that's not the case. I don't look my life that way and I think nobody should either," she said.
