PM Imran inaugurates sports event in Peshawar, to visit Mohmand

Premier will distribute Kafalat Cards to deserving families under the Ehsaas Programme in Mohmand

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday visited Peshawar and attended the inauguration ceremony of Under-21 Games at Qayyum Sports Complex in Peshawar as the chief guest.

The premier said during the ceremony that the government will give an avenue to the youth of rural areas to hone their skills and benefit from opportunities linked to the sporting field.



“A person is defeated truly when he accepts defeat,” said PM Imran Khan, adding that sports make one competitive in life and said the talent of Pakistan’s youth will be recognized.

The premier is also scheduled to distribute Kafalat Cards to deserving families under Ehsaas Programme in Mohmand. He will also attend the inauguration of a sports gala in Ghalanai.

Under the Ehsaas Kafalat Programme, cash stipends of Rs2,000 per month will be given to deserving and poor women.

The prime minister also scheduled to address a public gathering in the district.
