Reema jets off to India for Kitni Haseen Hai Zindagi

Kitni Haseen Hai Zindagi is Reema Khan’s second project as a director and she is working hard to ensure its success. A source close to the star told The Express Tribune that Reema had completed shooting for the film and it will be released as soon as she completes the production work.

“I cannot give the exact date of the release but it will be quite soon. Reema will also be negotiating with filmmakers about working in Indian movies while she is there. She has been getting offers to work in Bollywood but will make a decision after going through scripts,” he said.

Reema has been trying to improve the standard of filmmaking in the country. She recently told Daily Express, “Film is a very important medium of art but at present we do not see much effort being put into this industry here in Pakistan.”

Reema is hoping that her film will bring a positive change in Lollywood and is working hard to improve the quality of films in Pakistan.

Reema has not only invested time and effort in her second directorial venture, but  a lot of money.

While talking to Daily Express about the film’s budget, Reema said, “My latest film will be the most expensive movie in Lollywood’s history. I have already put a lot of money in it but it still requires more investment […] its budget has already crossed our estimated figures but I feel that a high quality movie demands heavy expenditures. I am spending all my savings on this film and I hope it pays off.”

Kitni Haseen Hai Zindagi is written by Pervaz Kaleem and directed by Reema.

The shooting for the movie started in September 2008 and was completed in June 2009. The lead roles are played by Reema, Moammar Rana, new model Nabeel Khan and a young actor from Azerbaijan called Iraida.

The film has been shot in Azerbaijan and Malaysia.

The music of the film has been composed largely in Pakistan and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has sung two songs for the movie.

The songs in the film have been written by noted poets named Khawaja Pervaiz and Aqeel Ruby and Pakistani singer Abrarul Haq also stepped in to sing a song for the production.

Indian comedian Johnny Lever also plays an important part in the plot. Moammar Rana plays the lead role and said that his role in the movie was different from his normal roles and hoped the audience would like it.

Rana said that Reema and the entire team had worked very hard on the movie and they hope it would benefit the film industry when it opens in cinemas.
