This was revealed by Dr Sikander Warriach on Saturday. He said a PC-1 of a trauma centre and burn unit at the district headquarters hospital were sent to the government to provide better medical facilities to the people. He said recruitment for 260 posts had also been approved for the DHQ hospital.
He said a neurosurgeon would be appointed and a new CT scan machine would be installed soon at the hospital. Dr Warriach also said all arrangements have been made to provide emergency medicines to patients. He said the hospital administration was taking every possible step to utilise all the available resources to improve its services.
