Osman Khalid Butt is giving Aurat March trolls a tough time on Twitter

The actor received serious flak for defending 'Mera Jism Meri Marzi,' but continued to do so

Actor Osman Khalid Butt had penned an elaborate and compelling note on the 'Outrage Culture' after the Khalilur Rehman and Marvi Sirmed fiasco. His stance on Twitter was followed by a social media debate on Mera Jism Meri Marzi, which was defended by Butt, several women and feminists alike, but received flak from the greater majority.

Thus, that majority took the actor's words to their hearts and started treating him like a traitor to 'masculinity'. Butt then started off by responding to their concerns in an explanatory manner, with hopes that he might get his point through to some.

It all started when a person asked if he would send his own sister to the march, to which he responded, "Yes I will, because they are claiming autonomy over their bodies, zara research kar len ke is slogan ka matlab kya hai. Aap logon ka masla ye hai ke aap 'jism' ka lafz suntay hain aur sirf Bipasha Basu ya Sunny Leone ki film yaad aa jaati hai."

However, after receiving a counter attack, he said, "Behaya mainay nahi, aapne bola hai. Mainay is tweet ke neechay wazahat bhi ki hui hai. But let me say it again: you can't fathom that the word 'jism' can be spoken by a woman in a non-erotic/'fahaash' context."

But soon Butt realised that his attempts at educating such a vast majority are useless, so he started trolling back at the trolls.

And when they had nothing left, they dragged his role from Ehd e Wafa into the argument. But he continued to school them.
