PESHAWAR: There seems no end in sight to the differences within the ruling party in the province, as the newly appointed head of health department Ajmal Wazir said on Wednesday that it was up to the Prime Minister Imran Khan to reappoint the three sacked ministers.

Wazir who was appointed as Adviser to Chief Minister on Information and Public Relation while speaking to the media said that the reshuffle in the provincial cabinet should not be linked with rewards but it was a sole decision of the chief executive of the province. PM Khan and the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan will decide about reappointment of Muhamamd Atif Khan, Shaharm Tarakai, and Shakeel Ahmad.

The adviser said he was thankful to the PM Imran and CM Mahmood for entrusting him with a new responsibility. The issues of media fraternity would be resolved at the earliest, he added.

Wazir said the chief minister will hold a meeting with PM Khan over the coronavirus situation in the province. He said presently there was no coronavirus patient in the province and panic should not be created.
