ISLAMABAD:
The Establishment Division (ED) Saturday changed the status of Syed Khalid Akhlaq Gilani, a BS-21 officer of the District Management Group (DMG) presently posted as Additional Secretary 2 in the ED in Lahore, to Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
Dr Muhammad Saqib Aziz, a BS-20 DMG officer presently posted in Balochistan, was transferred to Punjab. Dr Aziz served as Secretary Education, Sports and Environment in Balochistan, said a notification issued by the ED.
Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) General Manager Shahzad Nawaz Cheema has been posted as Benazir Income Support Programme’s Director.
Cheema, a BS-19 officer of Secretariat Group, was posted as General Manager PEMRA on deputation basis and again transferred on deputation to Benazir Income Support Programme.
DMG officer Faisal Malik Awan, a BS-19 officer, was made OSD with effect from June 1, 2011.
Asia Gul, a BS-18 District Management Group officer, has been transferred and posted as Section Officer in the Ministry of Science and Technology, the notification said.
