The newly constructed auditorium, which will serve around 3,000 students of Topian Public School run by the RMWO, was inaugurated by Pakistan Air Force Air Chief Marshall Mujahid Anwar Khan on Thursday.
TIKA Karachi coordinator Ibrahim Katirci, RMWO president Shabbir Ahmad Khan and former Sindh governor and interior minister Moinuddin Haider were also in attendance.
Speaking at the ceremony, Khan thanked the Turkish government and TIKA for its support with regards to the project.
Meanwhile, Haider thanked Turkey for specifically supporting educational projects in Pakistan, maintaining that Ankara and Islamabad share a very special bond that continues to grow.
Katirci also maintained that such projects would further strengthen the long-standing brotherhood between Turkey and Pakistan, adding that Turkey would continue to support Pakistan's development in different sectors.
TIKA has spearheaded many projects dealing with education, healthcare, vocational training and water sanitation in Pakistan. This includes the establishment of seven water filtration plants in Karachi and other parts of Sindh.
