Gunmen loot and release 'hijacked' bus in Balochistan

KHUZDAR: A bus that had been taken hostage by unidentified gunmen in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Sunday was released after the passengers were robbed of their money and valuables.

The owner of the bus, Chaudhry Bashrat said all passengers belonged to Dina, Jehlum adding that the last contact he had made with the driver of the bus was at 11 in the morning, an unknown person received the call, claiming the bus had been hijacked.

The bus was on its way from Sehwan Sharif to the Shah Noorani shrine with about 80 passengers aboard when it was ‘hijacked’ by gunmen.
