Temporary hospital set up by LGH for PSL

Arrangements have been completed to deal with any kind of medical necessity on the occasion of PSL

LAHORE:
A temporary hospital has been established by the Lahore General Hospital (LGH) at Gaddafi Stadium for the cricket matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

It will remain functional until March 23, while doctors, nurses and paramedical staff have already been deployed and are performing their duties.

Dr Rana Mohammad Shafiq has been appointed as the focal person for the temporary hospital. LGH Medical Superintendent Dr Mahmood Salahuddin, while briefing Post-Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Principal Dr Mohammad Al-Fareed Zafar, said that the establishment of this temporary hospital is an honor for this institution.

“Arrangements have been completed to deal with any kind of medical necessity on the occasion of PSL and we will not be lacking in our duty,” he said.


The principal said immediate and standard medical treatment facilities should will be provided in this temporary hospital. Besides the players, the staff and the general public should also be taken care of and provided all kinds of medical facilities, he said.

He also asked the focal person to maintain data of the persons being treated at the facility on a daily basis.
