Kuwait leadership lauds Pakistan Army for its professionalism, determination to combat terrorism

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday travelled to Kuwait and held high-level discussions with Kuwait's political and military leaders.

On his day-long visit, Bajwa discussed matters of mutual interest, bilateral defence and security cooperation and regional peace and stability with his Kuwaiti counterpart Mohammed Khaled Al-Khadher, His Excellency Sheikh Ahmad Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Lieutenant General Mohammed Khaled Al-Khadher.

The Kuwaiti leadership lauded the Pakistan Army for its professionalism and determination to combat terrorism.

Both sides agreed to increase bilateral cooperation in various fields of defence and security, including the export of defence products, training, provision of trained manpower and human resources and cooperation in combatting terrorism.

On his arrival, the army chief was received by His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Khaled Al-Khadher, Chief of General Staff Kuwait Armed Forces and was prsented a guard of honour.
