Ramazan package: 1.61m subsidised flour bags to be sold
As many as 1.61 million flour bags of 10 kilogrammes each would be sold out on subsidised rates during Ramazan in Faisalabad district.
Sale of flour on subsidised rates would start from July 31, government officials said, further adding that each 10 kg flour bag would be provided at Rs210 in Sastay Ramazan Bazaars, while it would be available at Rs220 in the open market.
During the meeting with the district administration on this issue it was also stated that 25,842 flour bags would be supplied in Ramazan Bazaars on daily basis while 27,264 bags will be sold out in the open market daily.
He urged upon the owners of flour mills to supply sufficient quantity of standard flour in accurate weight.
