NHMP officer killed while rescuing victims

ISLAMABAD: An officer of the National Highways Motorway Police (NHMP) lost his life on Monday as he tried to rescue motorists involved in an accident.

NHMP in a statement said that they received a call that two trucks had collided with each other near Sial Mor. As they rescued the occupants, a bus (LES-1086) rammed Assistant Patrolling Officer (APO) Noor Muhammad, leaving him seriously injured.

He later succumbed to his injuries.
