Erdogan’s speech

Letter February 17, 2020
Other countries of the world mainly Muslim countries should support the stance of Pakistan.

SUJAWAL: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan reaffirmed and reassured his support for Pakistan once again while addressing the Joint Session of parliament for the fourth time. He also supported Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir and termed PM Imran’s efforts exemplary for bringing the Kashmir issue to the notice of the global community. During his speech, he condemned the worst form of tyranny against humanity in Kashmir and vowed to stand by Kashmir and Pakistan. The Turkish President recalled the tireless efforts of Muslim leaders for the restoration of Khilafat movement in the early half of the 20th century and shared his views over historical ties between the two nations. He paid tribute to the Pakistani nation for waging war against terrorism. Apart from this, he also appreciated the efforts of the present government for playing a pivotal role for peace in Afghanistan. Turkey will play its part in bringing Pakistan out of the financial crisis, he said, since he has to sign pacts for infrastructure investment with the government. President Erdogan’s visit is shining evidence that Pakistan’s stance over Kashmir and peace keeping is gaining grounds in the region. Other countries of the world mainly Muslim countries should support the stance of Pakistan.
