The British Council has announced a grant of up to Rs600,000 for 10 students to fund their studies abroad from the third quarter of the current year to early 2021.

According to the British Council, candidates seeking to apply for the grant are required to fill an online form, which includes a 500-word essay about why the applicants deserve the funding and where they plan to go for studies, given that they sat an International English Language Testing System (IELTS), an English language proficiency test, within the period of January, 2019 to February 2020 and are able to get admission at a university abroad.

The last date to apply for the funding is February 29.
