QUETTA:
Balochistan has been put on the path of progress and development following the vision and policies of chief minister Jam Kamal, said provincial government spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani.

Shahwani made these remarks in a meeting with Naseerabad Deputy Commissioner Zafar Ali, the other day in Quetta.

He said that the government was taking necessary measures for the spread of education in the province and that four primary, two middle and one high school would be established in all constituencies.

“The government is hiring around 17,000 teachers on merit which would end the shortage of educationists in government schools,” he said, adding “Balochistan government has set a target to enroll 100,000 children in government schools”.

Shahwani noted that an information technology institute would also be set up in the province. He also shed light on the well-being of the people and observed that the government had already declared a health emergency in Balochistan.
