Report says Chinese foreign minister had assured complete care of Pakistani students

The foreign ministry has said that four Pakistani students infected with coronavirus in China were recovering fast and were expected to be discharged from hospital soon.
“Pakistani council in China is fully in contact with the virus-infected students,” said a report of the foreign ministry about Pakistanis living in China after the outbreak of Coronavirus.
The document stated out of nearly 28,000 Pakistani students in China, most of them were living with their families with a majority studying doctorate.
“The Chinese foreign minister has assured to provide full care of Pakistani students,” the report said.
“Pakistani embassy in Beijing is providing all kinds of information to Pakistani students in a timely manner. Complaints about medicines, food supplies, visa problems and financial aid are being received,” it added.

It further noted that special assistant to Pakistani students; Ministry of Health and Ministry of Human Rights had contacted the students through video link and assured them of complete assistance.
The document revealed that currently citizens of 120 countries were present in Chinese city of Wuhan but the World Health Organisation and Chinese authorities had not recommended their evacuation.
Meanwhile, the WHO director general had also stopped the international community from speculations.
“Evacuation of foreigners from China will only be possible after the due process is completed as per the international law,” it said.
It was mentioned that 13 cities in the surroundings of Wuhan had been completely shut as a security measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
