Sacha Baron Cohen, a prominent comic and writer called the social media platform out by posting on Twitter that “We don’t let 1 person control the water for 2.5 billion people. We don’t let 1 person control electricity for 2.5 billion people. Why do we let 1 man control the information seen by 2.5 billion people? Facebook needs to be regulated by governments, not ruled by an emperor!”

Elon Musk, Tesla CEO, retweeted saying “#DeleteFacebook it’s lame.”
This is not the first time that Musk spoke his mind. Recently he came under fire for calling the British cave explorer 'pedo guy'.

Musk’s Twitter habits have long been under scrutiny, with the company’s investors and regulators expressing concerns about his tweets.
