QUETTA:
Representatives of Balochistan chief minister invited Kuwait consul general to take part in an investment conference that seeks to encourage foreign investment in the mineral-rich but impoverished province. The Kuwaiti envoy accepted the invite.

The Balochistan Investment Board (BoI) Chief Executive Farman Zarkoon and Coordinator to the Chief Minister Mir Abdul Rauf Rind called on Kuwait Consul General Saleem Yusuf Bin al-Hamdan in Karachi.

Zarkoon conveyed Balochistan CM Jam Kamal’s message of good wishes to Kuwait’s consul general and informed him about investment opportunities in various sectors of the province.

"Chief Minister Jam Kamal has a vision for the province. Under that vision, special facilities are being provided to the investors of friendly countries," Zarkoon said.

Kwait's Consul General assured them that the Government of Kuwait will participate in the investment conference of Balochistan. A delegation of Kuwait’s businessmen will also visit Gwadar and Quetta. He said Kuwait has also been part of investment in Balochistan in the past and now it will continue to pursue those initiatives.
