Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar on Sunday downplayed rifts with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rifts with its allies and asserted that none of the coalition partners wanted to destablise the government, Express News reported.
Speaking to media in Lahore, Sarwar expressed his hope that the issues with Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) will be resolved smoothly.
The PTI leader reminisced “old and good” relations with the PML-Q leadership - Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi – and said that the speaker of Punjab Assembly had emphasised breaking alliance would harm the country.
He said every coalition sees ups and downs. “There are differences even within the same party. We have to move forward instead on looking back.”
