Suspect in cop’s murder apprehended

PESHAWAR:
The Peshawar police on Friday claimed to have arrested a man accused of murdering a special police force officer. He was apprehended in a targeted raid in the Pishtakhara area of Peshawar and a heavy weapon was allegedly recovered from his custody.
Operations-SSP Zahoor Babar, in a news conference on Friday, said that they had a lead on the suspect, based on which they raided a house within the remits of the Pishtakhara police station and arrested the suspect.
