‘Ending sense of deprivation from province PM’s vision’

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Thursday said that ending sense of deprivation among the people of Balochistan and bringing them on a par with other developed areas was the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In a tweet, the SAPM said that meeting of Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal with Prime Minister Imran Khan on development projects of the province was a manifestation of PM’s commitment to Balochistan’s progress.

Terming development of Balochistan as vital for the progress of Pakistan, she said that improving living standards of the people in the country’s largest province was the top priority of the government.

She said that all resources will be utilised for betterment of the people of Balochistan and steps will be taken to provide them job opportunities, health and education facilities.


She said that the PM has laid foundation for resolution of decades-old problems being faced by the people. She said that Imran Khan has taken difficult decisions in the larger national interest, which no former governments could take and “this was proof of Imran’s attachment with the country and the nation,” she said.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal discussed in progress development projects and other issues of the province with Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday in Islamabad, according to a statement issued by PM office.

Kamal discussed progress of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects and provincial Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) with Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar at Balochistan House in Islamabad. (with additional input from APP)
