Afghan FC score late win in Quetta

Nasir’s injury-time winner gives his side maxium points in PPFL.

KARACHI:

Striker Abdul Nasir scored in injury time as Afghan FC registered a 2-1 win over Navy in the the Pakistan Premier Football League.

Afghan FC took the lead with Jadeed Khan scoring in the 30th minute. Navy, after repeated attempts, levelled the score in the 55th minute courtesy Asif Baksh. With both teams going all out, Nasir sealed the result as he scored in the second minute of injury time.

Meanwhile, PAF and PEL shared a point each after a 1-1 draw. Former Pakistan captain Essa Khan scored to save KESC from a defeat against PMC. Nadeem Amir was the scorer for PMC.
