The Chhapaak star has joined a high-profile myriad of actors and models for Louis Vuitton's pre-fall 2020 campaign. This makes her the first Bollywood star in a global campaign for the brand, reported Vogue.
Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton's creative director for women’s collections, is known to have a keen eye for casting distinctive faces to represent the storied French luxury design house. He handpicked Padukone to be one of the 24 poster girls and boys to star in Louis Vuitton’s renditions of pulp horror movies and books.

Padukone features in 'Don’t Turn Around', a fiction thriller by Michelle Gagnon. The star then, of course, took to Instagram to share the exciting news with her fans.
"I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Louis Vuitton family," she wrote on the post. "To be a part of Nicholas Ghesquière's vision for the world’s most iconic brand is not only exciting but also very humbling!"

Padukone' superstar husband and actor Ranveer Singh also commented on the post in support of her latest success. "Next level," he swooned.
Dressed in a checkered black and white dress, grey overcoat, mini belt bag and a pair of green quilted boots, Padukone exudes an air of grunge mystery in the reimagined promotional still under Ghesquière’s fashion-first banner.

The star joins known Louis Vuitton faces like Sophie Turner, Léa Seydoux, Alicia Vikander, Chloë Grace Moretz and more in the campaign.
Just last week, Louis Vuitton, along with Lucara Diamond Corporation and the HB Company of Antwerp, discovered the Sewelô rough diamond in Botswana. This is the second largest rough diamond ever discovered in the world, the largest one since 1905 featuring no less than 1758 carats.
