10-year-old boy sexually assaulted in Nowshera

Incident comes two days after an 8-year-old was found raped and murdered in K-P's Nowshera District

NOWSHERA: Another case of a minor being sexually assaulted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nowshera district surfaced on Wednesday.

Speaking to The Express Tribune, local police confirmed that a ten-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by four men inside a shop.

A first information report (FIA) was filed against the accused namely; Amanullah, Salman, Umair and Aziz after the minor’s father reported the case at the Mumraiz Police Station in the jurisdiction of Nowshera Police.

The sexual assault has been confirmed by a medico-legal report.

This is a second such case in the district. On Sunday, an eight-year-old girl’s body was recovered from Kaka Sahib in lower Nowshera.

Medico-legal report confirmed that Auz Noor was sexually assaulted.

According to police, the minor left her house Saturday afternoon for Madrassah. When she did not return home, a search was called. Her tortured body was found Sunday night.

The girl’s father Asjid Jehan filed an FIR and two suspects have been arrested. Reportedly, the minor was drowned in a water tank by the accused.
