PESHAWAR: The political administration of FR Lakki Marwat has constructed a flood protection wall for the community of Warghali. According to a press release issued by the Fata Directorate of Information on Wednesday, seasonal floods often damaged the properties of local people. The political administration therefore constructed a flood protection wall, which is benefitting approximately 1,200 individuals of the Warghali tribe. The 165 metres wall is not only protecting the farms from erosion and crop damages, but it is also guarding the houses of local people and a government primary school, thus improving their livelihoods. Local elders appreciated the efforts of the administration for responding in a timely manner.
