Commissioner: Narejo takes charge of Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Ahmed Baksh Narejo has assumed charge as the Commissioner of Hyderabad division. He was recently working as the Sindh Secretary for Works and Services. The newly revived division includes four districts of Hyderabad, Matiari, Tando Muhammad Khan and Tando Allahyar. Aftab Ahmed Khatri, who was posted here as the District Coordination Officer (DCO) in 2008, was elevated to the post of commissioner after the system was put in place. Khatri also worked as the District Administrator of the city after the dissolution of the local government system. He has been directed to report to the Services General Administration and Coordination Department of the Sindh government.
