Sport activities ‘symbol of healthy society’

Physical activity can reduce the risk of diseases and self-confidence also becomes lose

NASEERABAD: Naseerabad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Zafar Ali has said that sports activities are the symbols of a healthy society and the government is keen on bringing revolutionary improvements in sports department.

Naseerabad DC has expressed these views while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the 5th Och Inter-Divisional Cricket Tournament. The Chairman of the Naseerabad cricket Action Committee Mir Ghulam Nabi Imrani, member Minthar Khan Mangi, Mohammad Tariq Jamali, Abdul Raoof Lahri, SDO of B and RK Sulatan Ahmed Rindh, Nasir Khan Tareen, General Secretary Press Club Ali Jan Mangi, Ghulam Rasool Solangi, Naeem Gohar Imrani, Secretary Tournament Qamar Uddin Bugti and others were present on the occasion.

He said that it is our utmost efforts to promote the department of sports and the district administration will continue to encourage the people belonging to this sector.

The students gave a warm welcome to the chief guest on his arrival at the Pakistan Cricket Board Ground and showered petals of flowers, the teams being introduced with him. He inaugurates the tournament by hitting the ball.

While addressing the ceremony, he said that the sports activities are the key to achieving a healthy life, it is not only a source of fun but also a means to make the body healthy and fit, sports refreshes the brain and stimulates leadership skills that no one else can. Physical activity can reduce the risk of diseases and self-confidence also becomes lose. Regardless of the type of game, it affects human development in every wake of life.

“We desperately need to work together to build a healthy society so that the people of Naseerabad division can survive a variety of infectious diseases and live a healthy life,” deputy commissioner said.
