Police and rescue sources said that the driver of the car, later identified as Mohammed Sabir, allegedly fell asleep at the wheel and his car veered into the path of onrushing traffic and it collided head-on with the Suzuki van. As a result of the crash, the driver of the car was killed on the spot while seven others were injured.
The injured were rushed to the THQ hospital, from where three critically injured were shifted to the DHQ hospital in Rawalpindi for further treatment. Meanwhile.
