Rescue 1122 to mark 2020 as 'Year of Rescuers’: DG PES

Rescue 1122 will mark 2020 as the ‘Year of Rescuers’ for the emergency service, said Punjab Emergency Service Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer.

“During this year, service issues regarding regularisation of all contractual employees, regular promotion of all rescuers and officers and allowance will be addressed on top priority.”

He expressed these views while presiding over all District Emergency Officers (DEOs) Conference held at Rescue Headquarters in Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore on Saturday. The DG added that PES will also mark this year for Rescue Scouts Mobilisation through a digital database of all Community Emergencies Response Teams and Rescue Scouts Conventions for pragmatic engagement of all community teams.

He emphasised that all DEOs will continue to ensure the mission for the development of safer communities.
