Both Rhea Kapoor, director and producer Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Motion Pictures had chosen to keep any developments under wraps, but the star of the film let the cat out of the bag.

Spilling the beans in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Kareena said that the second part to the light hearted comedy film is in the works. "I think she (Rhea Kapoor) is planning it. We are all super excited because part one was amazing. Both Rhea and Sonam are fantastic and I love working with them."

The multi-starrer film which featured Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhasker in lead roles, became a sleeper hit in the summer of 2018, but not without its fair share of backlash. The film attracted a ton of negative reviews for its overt portrayal of independent women, which was simultaneously lauded as well.
Meanwhile, Kareena has a huge year in store for her, already having delivered a huge hit in the form of Good Newwz. She has three other big projects lined up for her - Lal Singh Chaddha and Takht. She will also be seen making a cameo in Hindi Medium this year.
