A notification issued by CDA’s Human Resource Directorate read that Ataullah has been asked to give a written explanation on the matter within three days, otherwise, it will be considered as if he had nothing to say.
The security guard, identified as Ahsan Bajwa, and Junior Assistant Fakhar Abbas have already been suspended for misconduct and alleged corruption, read separate notifications, adding that action was taken after complaints were received on the Pakistan Citizen Portal.
Project designs vetted
CDA’s Design Vetting Committee (DVC), under the chairmanship of Member Planning and Design Dr Shahid Mehmood, met at the CDA Headquarter on Thursday to consider various design proposals for upcoming building projects in Islamabad.
Officers of CDA directorates of Architect, Urban Planning and Building Control Section attended the meeting. Architects Salman Mansoor, Sohail Abbasi, Naveed Aslam and fire and safety expert Dawar Aftab were also present.
During the meeting, designs for various projects were presented before the DVC The meeting approved designs for plot number 3-D in Sector G-7 Markaz, plot number 10 in Park Enclave, Technology Park, Park Road Chak Shahzad and the head office of a private bank in Blue Area.
Operation against encroachments
CDA Enforcement Directorate, with assistance from the Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICTA) police and the Land Rehabilitation Directorate, demarcated some 190 kanals of land in Mouza Badia Rasmat and Badia Qadir Bukhsh in Sector G-12.
The land is owned by the federal government but allegedly illegal occupants had encroached on it. In this connection, the Enforcement Directorate said that it had issued notices to some 200 illegal occupants to vacate the strip of land.
The Enforcement Directorate also issued notices to people who have set up encroachment along a road in Sector G-11.
The notices were served after demarcation of land was carried out by the Land and Rehabilitation Directorate of CDA.
