Their new campaign ‘Jaagien un kay liye jo waqai ahem hain’ takes us on an emotional roller coaster ride that teaches us a very important life lesson.

The brand's latest commercial revolves around a narrative that is close to our hearts. It depicts a father daughter relationship in the most beautiful manner that instantly brings a smile on our faces. The TVC opens with the duo playing together, which is sadly interrupted by an office call that the father attends to. Saddened by this, the adorable little girl picks up the TV remote, and uses it as a telephone to mimic her fathers’ words to a teddy bear.
In most TV commercials, it is always the mother who plays a vital role in weaving relationships. What is so interesting about Lipton's TVC is the fact that even though the mother’s role is fairly limited, she still manages to steal the show with her one cup of Lipton chai. It is the sweet, warm hug in a mug that makes the man realise that after all he is a “father.” There is a moment of silence and he recognises the need to reevaluate his priorities.
This specific moment was very relatable to us because at some point we have been through the same scenario in our lives. Let’s accept it, we've been busy with our own daily shenanigans when we were needed elsewhere. This campaign by Lipton was the final nail in the coffin that inspired us to ponder upon all of those times when we had unconsciously failed to be there for our loves ones. It makes us want to be present in the moment, so that we can create valuable memories with the people who matter the most.
The recent campaign has been garnering immense appreciation nationwide because it has hit the people with a message to change for the better. Our favourite tea brand, Lipton has definitely given us a new resolution goal. So, this 2020, ‘Jaagien un kay liye jo waqai ahem hain.’
