The members of the council recommended formulating “strict” laws regarding child abuse and observed that curbing such incidents was the responsibility of the state.
They cited “western approach” and “lack of awareness” as the main reason behind the menace.
Discussing the issue of forced conversions, the CII agreed to call the leaders of religious minorities in the next meeting and make them a part of the consultation process, said the sources.
The meeting suggested preparing a pro forma under the Ministry of Religious Affairs for the person who changes religion.
It further said that the document be submitted in the court after being filled by the proselyte.
The CII strongly condemned the incident of video leakage of girls in the Balochistan University.
