26 projects worth Rs1.18b discussed

SARGODHA: The District Sugarcane Development Committee deliberated upon 26 development schemes valued at Rs1.18 billion presented by four sugar mills of the district.

A meeting of the District Sugarcane Development Committee was held on Tuesday which was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Abdullah Nayyer Shiekh and attended by the mills’ administration, MPA Faisal Farooq Cheema, Iftikhar Hussain Gondal, Muneeb Sultan Cheema, Finance Additional Deputy Commissioner Yasir Bhatti, Development Deputy Director Shafique and others. The projects fund included Al-Azizia Mills Rs39.2 million for five schemes, Popular Sugar Mills Rs449 million for 12 schemes, Sillanwali Sugar Mills Rs99 million for four schemes and Noon Sugar Mills Bhalwal Rs300 million for five development schemes.
