Metro for Hyderabad

Letter January 08, 2020
Hyderabad is becoming a center of investment by businessmen

HYDERABAD: Being the 8th largest city in Pakistan, it’s my request to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to establish a public transport system in Hyderabad to create ease in daily transits. The city holds a vital position on the country’s map and is still devoid of many basic facilities. The city is a go-through for all cargo traffic that transits from Punjab to Sindh. However, due to lack of attention on the part of the departments concerned, citizens face problems in travelling around the city on normal routines. Moreover, students face problems in commuting.

Hyderabad is becoming a center of investment by businessmen, due to it being a well-organized market. A reliable and affordable public transport system will greatly help in not only solving travelling issues but would resolve the traffic issues of Hyderabad, most importantly of the city centre, which is always crowded with vehicles.
