Girl shot dead; cash, jewellery looted at gun point

Unidentified men had entered the house by climbing the boundary wall.

ISLAMABAD:


A girl was shot dead in Airport area on Monday. Munira Akhtar, lodged a report with the police that Ajmal, and his friend had killed her daughter, with a pistol at her house in Dhoke Chaudhrian.

She was returning from her brother’s house, on Monday, when Ajmal and his friend started following her.

When she entered the house, the two men forcibly pushed her inside. Her daughter rushed towards the door and locked the room to rescue her mother.


But they broke the door and opened fire, killing her on the spot. Meanwhile, three armed robbers entered a house in Gulzar-e-Quaid area of Airport.

Muhammad Yousuf lodged a report with the same police, that unidentified men had entered his house, by climbing the boundary wall and looted Rs15,000 cash, jewellery worth hundreds of thousands, a laptop, a cell phone and other valuables at gun point. The police registered separate cases.
