Earlier in October last year, Sindh DG Rangers Major General Omar Ahmed Bukhari took notice of a short video clip making rounds on social media in which a person can be heard lambasting and crying over the negligence of the government hospital administration for denying the treatment to the patient who can be seen lying on the floor of the hospital with infected foot.
“I brought him to the hospital for treatment but he was not provided with the medical treatment than I ask for help from Rangers who have arrived to help him,” said the person in a video while appreciating the officials of the Sindh Rangers.
Crying over the alleged negligence of the hospital administration, the person in the video alleged that despite being paid handsome salaries at the government health facility, doctors are running their private clinics and do not perform their duties at the hospital.
According to an official statement issued by the paramilitary force, the ailing person was taken to the Rangers Hospital in Sukkur in October, 2019 where he was given initial medical treatment but for further medical examination he was shifted to Sindh Rangers Hospital in Karachi.
