Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain have been in the news since the  duo  shocked fans and friends at the 2019 Lux Style Awards with their public proposal. They have now officially kick-started their highly-anticipated wedding festivities.

The lovebirds, who will tie the knot on December 28, marked the beginning of their matrimonial celebrations with a vibrant and colourful mayoun ceremony.

Iqra took to Instagram to share some happy pictures showing the couple sporting big smiles. Following the tradition, she kept a low-makeup look and radiated in yellow attire. "Eeeeeee!," the actor simply wrote when sharing an adorable picture of the duo applying ubtan on each other's faces.

On the other hand, Yasir looked dapper in a simple white kurta. The star took to his Instagram handle as well to share the memorable moment of his life. "One, two, three, go," he wrote, as well as their hashtag #iqyasirdaviyah.

Iqra Aziz reveals her wedding card and it's hilarious

Last week, Iqra revealed her hilarious wedding invitation card on Instagram. Showing an adorable illustration of the two love birds, the card goes onto say, “Khadim sahab ka larka Yasir – Khadim sahab’s son, Yasir, Der aya, durust aya – slowly but surely made it.”

They ended off the card with a sly dig at their critics, writing, “Gifts ki zarurat nahi, salaami mashwaray ki tarhan den (dil khol ke) – No need to bring gifts, just give us salaami like you give us advice (without restrain),” Indirectly addressing their well-wishers (read critics).
